Dr Andrea Saliba, Consultant Psychiatrist

Dr Andrea Saliba is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. With over 13 years experience in psychiatry, she completed her psychiatric training in Malta and at Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust in the UK, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2017. She furthered her clinical and academic expertise as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellow at British Columbia Children’s Hospital and has a Masters in Health Sciences from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.

She has been an active researcher in the area of psychotherapeutic interventions for children and young people, with numerous peer-reviewed publications. She has served as President of the Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (ACAMH) Malta branch and remains its Educational and Research Officer. She is also a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Malta.
